The marketing site sets one cookie, which records the market whose prices you were shown so the page does not have to work it out again. It is not used to identify you and it is not shared.

We set no advertising cookies and run no third party analytics on this site.

The admin dashboard

A session cookie, which is what keeps you signed in. Removing it signs you out. There is no way to offer the dashboard without it.

A shop on Storeware

A basket cookie, so what you put in a basket is still there on the next page.

A receipt cookie after an order, which is what lets a guest read the order they just placed.

A session cookie if the shopper signs in, and cookies recording a chosen language and currency.

These are strictly necessary: each one exists because a shop cannot work without it. A merchant who adds an analytics or advertising integration is responsible for asking for consent for what it sets.

How fast a shop is

When you visit a page on a shop, your browser reports how long the page took to show and to respond, and whether anything on it moved while it loaded. The report goes to the shop’s own address, sets no cookie, and carries no identifier and no address of the page.

It is added straight into daily totals for that shop and then discarded, so nothing about your visit is kept. It exists so the shop, and we, can keep its pages fast.

It does not run if your browser sends Global Privacy Control, if you chose No thanks on the shop’s cookie banner, or if you follow the opt-out link in the shop’s privacy notice. Following that link remembers your choice in your browser’s storage for that shop.

Managing them

Your browser can block or clear cookies for any site. Blocking the ones above will sign you out and empty your basket, because those cookies are what hold them.
