What may not be sold or done on a Storeware shop.
The point of this
A payments platform inherits the risk of everything sold on it. This policy is what keeps one merchant from putting every other merchant’s ability to take card payments in question.
It forms part of the Terms of Service. Breaking it is grounds for suspension.
What may not be sold
Anything illegal where you or your customer are.
Weapons, ammunition and their components. Explosives.
Controlled drugs, and products marketed as a substitute for them.
Sexual services, and sexual content involving anyone who is not a consenting adult.
Counterfeit goods, replicas passed off as genuine, and anything infringing a trade mark or copyright you do not hold.
Stolen goods, and property you have no right to sell.
Live animals, endangered species and products made from them.
Human remains, organs and bodily fluids.
Credentials, accounts, personal data sets and services for defeating authentication.
Financial products requiring a licence you do not hold, including lending, insurance and investment.
Products making medical claims that are not authorised where you sell them.
Multi level marketing, pyramid schemes, and anything whose return depends on recruiting.
What may not be done
Taking payment for goods you do not intend to ship, or that you know you cannot ship.
Card testing, laundering payments for someone else, or processing transactions unrelated to your own business.
Misrepresenting who you are, where you trade from, or what a product is.
Sending email to people who did not ask for it, or making it hard to unsubscribe.
Scraping the platform, probing it for weaknesses without permission, or interfering with its availability.
Automating account creation, or opening accounts to work around a suspension.
Using the shop assistant or the agent interfaces to generate content unrelated to your shop.
Reporting and enforcement
Report a shop at legal@storeware.ai with its address and what you saw.
We will usually give notice and a chance to fix a problem. Where the risk is immediate, including anything that puts the platform’s payment processing at risk, we may suspend first and explain afterwards.
